Superpower Scholarship -- Good vs. Evil

The Superpower Scholarship: Who Will Be Victorious?

Did you know that not only helps you find free money for college, but we also hand out free money for college, too? In fact, we fund several unique scholarship programs every month that are open to all types of students: high school students, college undergrads, returning adult learners, and even graduate/post-grad students. This month, we’re featuring our $2,500 Superpower Scholarship. In this video, we’ll give you the scoop on the requirements, deadlines, and details; we’ll even offer tips on how to be a strong contender for this award.

This year, we’re asking everyone applying for the Superpower Scholarship to answer the question: “Which superhero or villain would you want to switch places with for a day and why?” This is your chance to use that brilliant imagination of yours and come up with a super creative response. You could make up a new character or pick a real person to swap places with for a day – but you have to explain why this character or person is a “hero” or “villain” to you. Get those thinking masks on — it might be hard to narrow your choices down to one character, but we know you can do it! Don’t forget that our judges read thousands of scholarship applications each year, so be sure to get those creative juices flowing and respond with your very best work. Think of it this way: if you’re selected as the winner of the Superpower Scholarship, you could earn ten bucks for every word you write!

Before you apply, be sure you meet these requirements:

  1. Thirteen years of age or older at the time of application
  2. Legal resident in the United States
  3. Currently enrolled (or planning to enroll) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education

To apply for the Superpower Scholarship, submit your essay online. After reviewing all the applications, our scholarship committee will select one student to receive a $2,500 scholarship to be used towards college tuition, books, fees, or room & board. If you’re having a hard time identifying your hero or villain, check out previous responses of Superpower Scholarship Winners. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is March 31st at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, but don’t wait until the last minute. We’re accepting applications for this award NOW!

Good luck! We look forward to reading your super submissions.
