      Hi Zia,

Have your parents read this infographic about athletic scholarships. Less than 2% of all high school students receive one and even those who do barely receive enough to make a dent in the total cost of college. Even if you do receive one, the demands on your time will be overwhelming and may affect your academics once you do enroll in college. If you’re heart is not in it, it is better to find what you love to do and start working towards your future career. Hopefully, your parents will realize that this is your life and you have the right to decide which path is best for you.
