Scholarships for the Working Joe (or Jane!)

In recognition of Labor Day, we wanted to take a moment to pay homage to those who contribute to the health and well-being of our nation on a daily basis. You know who were are talking about; the average working Joe or Jane who does what’s needed to ensure his or her family is provided for and our communities continue to run efficiently.  These hardworking citizens include postal and sanitation workers, law enforcement personnel, teachers, construction workers, nurses, and even those smiling people behind the deli counter who make your sandwich every afternoon. Without them, our lives wouldn’t be the same. That’s why this Labor Day holiday we’ve decided to highlight a few scholarship programs that are specifically for those who currently work in or are planning a career in these fields.
