Superpower Scholarship Have you ever fantasized about being a superhero? I’ll admit that there has been more than one occasion where I have dreamed of flying at lightening fast speeds across the sky and possessing superhuman strength — especially when trying to open a jar of peanut butter. On the other hand, I can also see myself slithering into a leather bodysuit and wielding a bullwhip against my sworn enemies. Of course, with my luck, I’d probably end up hitting myself in the face and looking like Indiana Jones…ouch!

We all connect on some level with those larger than life characters that make being a hero, or a villain, so appealing. But, if you had the choice, which side would you pick? Good or Evil? Hero or Villain? Well, here’s a chance to explore that fantasy and possibly win $2,500 by applying to the Superpower Scholarship! ScholarshipExperts.com is looking for a short essay (250 words or less) describing which hero or villain you would trade places with for one day and why. The character you write about doesn’t have to be an obvious choice, either. Get creative and invent your own superhero, or look to the real world for some villains that would make anyone’s blood boil. Just be sure to have some fun and stay within the word count. But hurry: the deadline for submissions is March 31, 2012.

One Response to “Superpower Scholarship: Let the Battle Between Good & Evil Begin!”

  1. If I had the ability to trade places with any villain that i could in the history of villains I would choose to become Doctor Victor Von Doom from the Fantastic 4. I would choose him because when he became bad he had the reasons and the brains to make his equipment. I would trade places with him because he is one of the small amount of villains that shows that he can sometimes outsmart the heroes he fights, he isn’t like most that only use brute force. I would choose to trade places with him for only one day because he is a type of combination of many heroes. He can fly, throw rays from his hands and blow up objects. When Being bad i would do everything that people always want to do like fly around and destroy objects but then no one can do anything because they dont have the power to stop you. Then the heroes come in and save the day. If I could choose a villain to trade my life with for a day it would be Victor Von Doom.
