What Would You Do With $3,000?

Cha-Ching! If you won $3,000, what would you buy? Would you head over to McDonald’s and purchase more than 1,000 Big Mac’s, or would you go on a shopping spree for clothes? Maybe, you’d go on a cruise or head over to Disney World for some fun. Personally, I would use it to help pay for school.

I’m sure this will come as no surprise, but a college education can unlock the door to a better life. Having a college degree can give you access to fantastic opportunities, such as expanded career choices, alumni networking, discounts on insurance and more. Especially in today’s economy, it is important to have as many skills as possible. But, as we all know, earning a college degree can get expensive. Even if you do qualify for federal financial aid, you may still find yourself coming up short on cash when it comes to paying for college.

ScholarshipExperts.com wants to help one student realize the college dream by offering the $3,000 ‘All About Education’ Scholarship! It’s easy to apply. Simply complete the online application and tell us (in under 250 words) how $3,000 will make a difference in your life. Your essay can be serious or light-hearted; it’s completely up to you. If you’re having a case of writer’s block, we suggest checking out the entries from our past scholarship winners for inspiration. But hurry, this opportunity expires at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on April 30, 2012.

As of now in my life, I would no doubt use it to pay for school, but in the future… *zoom, into the future!*
Hey there, now that we’re in the future and 3,000 dollars means pallio (modern speak for “just about nothing”) I would use it to buy some new shoes. Our shoes, now that we have robots that think for themselves (and most likely attempt to take over the world at any time, design shoes that are horrendously beautiful! (Yes, horrendous means “Good” now) Another thing is that our social status’ rely on our shoes. For example, if you have 4 foot stilts, you are “higher” class than say… someone with 2 foot stilts.
So if I had 3,000 dollars in the future, I would, no doubt, but myself some higher stilt-shoettos!

Have you ever had that feeling of pure ecstasy when your favorite football team is winning the championship game at half time? You have so much hope for the next half that you are too excited to even think about possibly losing in the end. I am half-way through my schooling and am already feeling the ecstasy of winning. I can hear my support team behind me, rooting me on into the next half. I can hear the music in my ears as the band plays songs just to keep me intent on finishing my dream. The cheerleaders scream my name and chant cheers to keep up my motivation. I can feel the pressure build inside me as I struggle to keep up and stay energetic for the next half. I can see the crowd wearing the same colors I am, making it known that I have a huge support team behind me. Receiving $3,000 from this scholarship opportunity would be like taking out the defensive line; I am that much freer to run to the goal line to put myself so much closer to victory. I want more than anything to get my very own championship ring and I refuse to let myself or the people who have been rooting for me through this rollercoaster of a game down.
