Scholarship Details
Dear Mr. President Essay Contest
U.S. residents aged 13 to 20 who are in grades 7 through 12 are eligible for this award. Students must compose a persuasive essay on the selected topic.
Please note: Although the application deadline for this award has passed, we wanted you to know about this award as a possibility for next year. Often, scholarship providers offer similar scholarships each year. This award is scheduled to be updated within the next few months. Please check back for more information at a later date.

Award Amount:
$5,000 annually, non-renewable. The award amount will be deposited into the recipient’s 529 account. The recipient must be enrolled in a valid 529 plan within three weeks of the notification date.
- Recipients:
- Two grand prize awards offered annually, one to a recipient from the grade seven through nine applicants and one to a recipient from grade ten through twelve applicants.
