This award is for U.S. Colorado high school seniors who rank in the top 5 percent of their graduating class and have an SAT score of 1200 (reading/math) or higher, or an ACT score of 27 or higher. A student who meets the minimum eligibility requirements may request an application from his/her high school guidance counselor.
The scholarship covers full tuition and fees at one of the approved schools, renewable for three years by maintaining a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
The scholarship will also provide each recipient with a living stipend ($2,800) to defray the cost of room and board, book allowance, international education grant, enrichment grant, and annual or campus scholar events.
The total amount of the scholarship (over four years) depends on a number of factors, including the cost of a scholar's institution, and can range from $50,000 to more than $160,000.
