This award is for Louisiana resident high school students who are currently in 11th or 12th grade. The student must be concurrently enroll at a Lousiana public college in a vocational course of study leading to an industry-based certification in an eligible demand Occupation.

Up to $600 annually, renewable for one additional year provided the student remains in good standing as an 11th or 12th grade student (as verified by the high school).
- The number of awards offered each year may vary and is dependent on the number of qualified applicants and the amount of funding available. In the previous academic year, a total of 381 awards disbursed.
