U.S. and international students who have an Active Technician Class Amateur Radio License or higher are eligible for this award. Students living in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, or Connecticut as well as those majoring in computer science, TV/radio electronics or electrical engineering will be given preference.
Please note: Although the application deadline for this award has passed, we wanted you to know about this award as a possibility for next year. $1,000 annually for four-year recipients or $500 annually for two-year recipients. Awards are non-renewable.
- One or two awards offered annually. One award will either be awarded to a recipient at a four-year institution, or two awards will be awarded to each recipient at a two-year institution.
