U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who have earned 60 or more college credit hours and are attending an Arizona institution full time are eligible for this award. Applicants must demonstrate an interest in pursuing engineering careers in the fixed wing, rotorcraft or VTOL (vertical take-off/landing) aircraft industry.
Please note: Although the application deadline for this award has passed, we wanted you to know about this award as a possibility for next year. $1,500 to $3,000 annually, non-renewable. A recipient may receive an award once as an undergraduate student and once as a graduate student. Each recipient will also receive a one-year membership in the AHS and an engraved plaque.
- The number of awards offered varies annually and is dependent on funding. The chapter intends to award one or more scholarships annually, subject to funding, unless there are no qualified applicants.
