This award is available for U.S. high school students who plan to graduate from a Florida high school that they have attended for at least one semester. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, and a minimum test score on the SAT (600 math, 500 verbal) or the ACT (26 math, 21 English). Students must also enroll in an engineering program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
Please note: Although the application deadline for this award has passed, we wanted you to know about this award as a possibility for next year. $2,500 annually, non-renewable. The scholarship will be paid directly to the university or college financial aid office rather than to the student. The scholarship is contingent upon enrollment in an engineering program and being accepted by the college or university of the recipient's choice.
