FIRE's Freedom in Academia Essay Contest

This award is for U.S. high school juniors and seniors who submit a essay to the FIRE's scholarship.

Please note: Although the application deadline for this award has passed, we wanted you to know about this award as a possibility for next year. Often, scholarship providers offer similar scholarships each year. This award is scheduled to be updated within the next few months. Please check back for more information at a later date.

Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE)
Award Amount:

Scholarships are awarded as followed: One first place winner will be awarded a $10,000 college scholarship. One second place winner will receive a $5,000 college scholarship. Three third place winners will receive a $1,000 college scholarship. Four $500 winners will be chosen from the remaining entrants in a drawing. Awards are non-renewable.
