International and U.S. full-time students attending a U.S. college are eligible to enter this essay contest. Students must have been enrolled in college during the spring 2013 semester to be eligible.
There will be a first-prize award of $1,500, a second-prize award of $750, and a third-prize award of $500. All awards are made on an annual basis and are non-renewable. The scholarship prize money is designed as a reward for academic excellence. It can be used for any purpose the winner desires.
