Minnesota/South Dakota Reciprocity Agreement
This award is for Minnesota resident undergraduate and graduate students who are planning to attend a college or university in South Dakota. The student must be enrolled in an eligible program to qualify.

Award Amount:
This award provides reduced Out-of-State Tuition options at eligible a South Dakota public college or university. Students attending:
South Dakota State University, the University of South Dakota or another South Dakota public four-year school pay the same tuition and fees as if he/she were attending a similar Minnesota school.
South Dakota technical schools in Watertown, Mitchell, Sioux Falls, or Rapid City pay the South Dakota resident tuition and fee rate (students should contact the school directly for residency and tuition rates).
A professional program at the University of South Dakota pays no more than 150 percent of the South Dakota resident tuition and fee rate.
Reciprocity benefits will be automatically renewed each year providing the student maintains continuous enrollment and continues to meet the program eligibility.
