This award is for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing higher education in the radiologic sciences. The applicant must be a graduate of a program in the radiologic sciences, and have worked in the radiologic sciences profession for one year or more in the past five years.
$5,000 annually, non-renewable. Recipients can reapply each year; however, an applicant is only eligible to win this scholarship twice. Each scholarship recipient will have to submit a letter of acceptance from a program director, faculty member or advisor that verifies admission into a certificate or degree program. Funds will not be disbursed until the letter is received at the foundation. The ASRT Education and Research Foundation will send a check for the scholarship amount directly to the financial aid office of the recipient's college, university or medical institution. Funds may be used as long as the recipient is continuously enrolled in a radiation therapy program. Unused funds must be returned to ASRT by the college, university or medical institution.
