Waiver for Honorably Discharged, Separated or Retired Veterans Who Move to Texas
This award is available to former members of the U.S. Armed Forces or former commissioned officers of the U.S. Public Health Service who are living in Texas but have not yet satisfied all requirements for legal state residency. The waiver granted allows an eligible veteran or immediate family member to pay the discounted resident tuition rate at public Texas colleges and universities instead of the non-resident rate.
