Arkansas Health Education Grant Program (ARHEG)

This award is available to Arkansas resident graduate students who are studying dentistry, veterinary medicine, optometry, osteopathic medicine, podiatric medicine, or chiropractic medicine at an eligible out-of-state institution.

Award Amount:

Based on the student's program of study, award amounts ranges from $5,000 to $25,000 annually. To remain eligible for continuing participation in the program, recipients must be in good academic standing and must make Satisfactory Academic Progress toward timely completion of the Participating Institution’s prescribed curriculum, as defined by the participating institution.

Recipients:
The number of students who receive assistance may be limited by the availability of funds. Approximately 250 awards were offered in the previous academic year.
