H. Thomas Austern Memorial Writing Award

This legal writing contest is open to students studying at any law school in the United States. The Food and Drug Law Institute (FDLI) sponsors this competition to encourage law students interested in the areas of law that affect foods, drugs, devices, cosmetics, and biotechnology.

Please note: Although the application deadline for this award has passed, we wanted you to know about this award as a possibility for next year. One first-place award of $4,000 and one second-place award of $1,000 will be awarded for each of the two competitions. All awards are made on an annual basis and are non-renewable.
