New Mexico Minority Doctoral Loan-For-Service Program

This award is available to New Mexico graduate students who are accepted into an eligible program leading to a doctorate degree. The student must be a minority and must have completed a baccalaureate degree at a New Mexico four-year public postsecondary institution.

The award is given in the form of a forgivable loan. The average award amount is approximately $15,000 annually. The award may be renewed for up to three additional years.
