This scholarship is available for Louisiana students who are pursuing a major in forestry, wildlife, or marine science at a Louisiana public college or university. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher (or 3.0 or higher if a graduate student).

Up to $2,000 annually for an undergraduate student and up to $3,000 annually to a graduate student. The cumulative maximum award is $12,000 for up to three years of undergraduate study and two years of graduate study.
- The number of awards offered varies annually. In the 2012-2013 academic year, there were 29 awards disbursed.
