This scholarship is available for Indiana high school seniors who major in science, math, or technology education, and plan to commit to teach for five years in an underserved area in Indiana. Students must attend a state-funded Indiana college, have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and be a first-generation college student.

The amount of the scholarship to be awarded is based on the student's financial need. There is potential for an annual renewal for up to four years. The criteria for renewal are that the student must: 1) continue to be enrolled in a four-year college or university, 2) have declared a major in math, science, or technology education, 3) maintain a minimum cumulative 2.5 grade point average, and 4) complete requirements within the IAPCSF Mentor Program.
