Applicants must plan to major in one of the following fields: math, engineering, science (includes all medical fields), business, education, computers, finance, management, economics, banking, and hotel management.

Awards are based on CTD's projected income. Previous awards have been $500 to $5,000 per year of undergraduate study or graduate study. CTD does not place a limit on the number of terms/semesters for funding. Continuing students (those who are currently funded by CTD) do not have to reapply. Instead, they will automatically receive a scholarship renewal form that must be completed by June 1 for each year they are in school.
