Prizes of $1,000, $500, and $250 will be awarded to the first, second and third-place winners, respectively. All awards are offered annually and are non-renewable. In addition, the winning essays will be recognized in the 'American Indian Law Review' and will receive 'Felix S. Cohen's Handbook of Federal Indian Law,' provided by LEXIS.
