This award is for Mississippi undergraduate juniors andseniors who are attending a Mississippi college/university to pursue a program of study leading to a Class A teacher educator license. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and passing scores on the Praxis test or an ACT score of 21 or higher.

Up to $4,000 annually ($2,000 a semester), renewable for one additional year. This award is a forgivable loan.
- The number of awards offered annually varies depending on the amount of funds available and the number of eligible students. The Mississippi Office of Student Financial Aid will make awards on a first-come first-served based upon its level of funding. However, priority is given to renewal applicants who complete the renewal process by the deadlines.
