This scholarship is available for female students to assist in obtaining their private pilot license or an advanced rating to further their career. Students must live in Monterey or Santa Cruz counties in California.

$1,000 annually, non-renewable. The scholarships will be paid directly to the flight school or independent flight instructor conducting the training. Receipts showing hours flown and signed by both student and instructor must be submitted before funds are awarded. The last $150 will be awarded upon submission of a receipt for the checkride. Recipients who successfully complete their ratings will receive a one-year's membership in both the Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots main organization and the Monterey Bay chapter.
