U.S. Hispanic graduating high school seniors or undergraduate students from North Carolina who are first-generation college-bound students are eligible for this award. Students must come from a low-income background and attend a North Carolina postsecondary institution.

$2,000 to $15,000 annually, non-renewable. This scholarship is to be used to supplement the student’s financial aid package after all possible awards are made to the student. An institution should demonstrate that they are providing some level of institutional funds for any student nominated for Tomorrow Fund support. Students must also demonstrate that they have pursued all possible sources of funding available, including loans, other scholarships, and State/Federal Grants (if applicable). Students cannot be supported by this scholarship if, after all aid is applied, including support from The Tomorrow Fund, the remaining unmet need exceeds the student’s and his/her family’s ability to pay.
