SFCC African-American/Willie J. Dennard, Jr. Scholarship

This award is for full-time South Florida Community College students of African American descent who are residents of Hardee, Highlands, or DeSoto counties in Florida. Students must be seeking an associate's degree and have a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher.

The monetary award amount varies according to the applicant's financial need. The scholarship will be renewable for up to two full years or until an associate's degree is earned, so long as the student makes satisfactory academic progress toward the degree and maintains continuous full-time enrollment status.
