This award is available for U.S. and Canadian undergraduate students who are 18 years of age or older. Students be pursuing a career in welding engineering or welding engineering technology and have an overall grade point average of 2.8 or higher with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in all engineering courses. Priority will be given to those individuals residing or attending school in the states of Alabama, Georgia or Florida. (A resident is defined as having lived in the specified area for a minimum of one year.)
