This scholarship is available for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in the field of metallurgy. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Up to $6,000 annually, non-renewable. Students may reapply each year. Scholarship recipients will also receive a one-year Material Advantage membership. Through the Material Advantage program, students are members of the following organizations serving the materials science and engineering community: American Ceramic Society (ACerS), Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST), ASM International, and The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS).
