NSSAR George S. and Stella M. Knight Essay Contest

This award is available to U.S. citizens who are high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Students must submit a 800- to 1,200-word essay addressing the questions for this year's essay contest.

The national awards are distributed as follows: the first-place winner will receive $2,000, a winning recognition plaque, airfare and a one night hotel for two at the annual congress; the second-place winner will receive $1,000; and the third-place winner will receive $500. All awards are made on an annual basis and are non-renewable.
