The UA Scholars Program is an $11,000 scholarship for attendance at the University of Alaska. Any student designated by an eligible Alaska high school as ranking in the top ten percent of his/her class will receive the award if he/she is admitted to any campus of the University of Alaska.
Please note: Although the application deadline for this award has passed, we wanted you to know about this award as a possibility for next year. $1,375 per semester, renewable for up to eight semesters. The award will expire after a total of eight semesters of use or within five years of the scholar's graduation from high school. Please note: A scholar may use the award during a summer term if during the preceding spring semester the scholar received a Scholars Award payment. In addition, the scholar must enroll full time for the summer term and be otherwise eligible to use the award. Scholars planning to use their award during a summer term must notify their financial aid office in advance.
